How to setup Logged In User specific Dashboards in Fortix

In Fortix the dashboard provides at-a-glance views of different areas in Fortix relevant to a particular objective or business process for the user.

The "dashboard" is usually displayed on the home page which is linked to a database that allows the components to be constantly updated. The Dashboard can be set-up to show only the Logged in user's Work Requests.

To set-up  Logged in user-specific item to display on the Dashboard, navigate to the Setup Icon and Search for the Dashboard components. Click the Active Dashboard Components option.

On the Active Dashboard Components page, find the Component that needs to Logged In User specific. Click the down arrow on the Action tab and click Edit.

On the Active Dashboard Components page:

  1. Select the project which Work Requests needs to be displayed
  2. Select all the user from who the Work Requests originated
  3. Display the time period of the Work Request
  4. Click Yes so only work requests from projects, linked with the logged-in customer are displayed.

The Field Logged in User WR(s) Only: Click Yes so only work requests passed to the logged-in user are displayed.

Click SAVE to commit the changes to the system.

Other options that can be selected are Tags to include, Tags to Exclude, Types of WR and the status of the WR.

Lastly, choose Yes: so the Active Dashboard component will be visible for all users. The creator of the component will be replaced in From & To filters with the logged-in user.

No: component will be visible only for the creator of this Active Dashboard.

Click SAVE to commit the changes to the system.
