Create Process for Query Register in WR

Process Builder in Fortix is a powerful automation function to help automate a process to send an email or trigger some action within Fortix automatically. It is like the glue you would need to put certain steps together.

This article explains how to create the process Customer Query Report and Manager Query Report for the Query Register function in Work Request. This is a way to automatically remind the customer that they have to respond to your query without having to manually send a reminder.

Process Builder page can be accessed through the Setup Menu. Click the gear icon and find Process Builder under AUTOMATION.

The Process Builder page opens with a list of current available PROCESSES. Click Add New to add the Customer Query Report Process.

Complete the ADD NEW PROCESS form. Click the drop-down arrow on the Process Type field and select Service Delivery Process.

In the Step Details add Step 1 as a Send E-mail step.

The Duration is set to 1.

Tick the Autocomplete box.

Click SAVE to commit this record to the system.

The ADD NEW ACTION form opens. In the Do Action field select SEND E-mail from the drop-down list. The form changes to accommodate the setting up of the email template.

Select the Message, which has been set up in the System Email page for Customer Query Report. Click the Pencil to edit this message in the System Email section.

Select the Sender, from who this automated email will be, in the Sender drop downfield. A new Sender can be added by clicking the person icon on the right side.

Ensure that the Send To field is Customer (Selected Contact) for this process to work properly.

The BCC field should be Selected Users. Click SAVE to commit to the system

The new process Customer Query Report has been added in the Process Builder. Next, the CRON Job has to be activated.

To access the CRON Job Management navigate to Setup Menu and find CRON Job Management in the AUTOMATION Heading.

Find the customer_query_report job. Click the Action drop down arrow and select Schedule.

The SCHEDULE CRON JOB page opens. Complete the form to schedule the automation of the Customer Query Report Process.

Click SAVE when complete.

The Cron job can be executes manually by selecting Execute in the drop down Action menu.

Complete the ADD NEW PROCESS form for Manager Query Report. Click the drop-down arrow on the Process Type field and select Service Delivery Process.
