Private System Email Messages Owner Permissions
System Emails is pre-written standard email templates which will allow you to quickly and easily create, write, and send emails without having to start wording and email message from scratch.
Private pre-written messages can be set up so only the owner user can view, edit or use the messages. With the exception of the permission EmailMessageManageAllOwners, who has access to all private messages in Fortix, regardless of the owner.
This article explains how to set the Private Message access owner in Fortix as well as the permission connected to the user role.
Click COMMUNICATION then System E-mails. This opens up the E-mail Messages page. The list view can be sorted on the column ACCESS TYPE.
Find the message to change or add a new message.

The E-mail Messages page opens. Scroll down and find the Message Access Types section.
To view the roles who have the permission for EmailMessageManageAllOwners Navigate to Auth Manager by clicking on the Setup gear, then the Auth Manager Icon under SECURITY.

The Auth Manager page opens with ROLES hierarchy component, PERMISSIONS hierarchy component and a PERMISSIONS list component. The PERMISSIONS component can be filter on the NAME column.
Take note of the ROLES that has been assigned the EmailMessageManageAllOwners permission.
To access the users Authentication Roles, navigate to the Users page.

Find the user and click the down arrow in the Action tab selecting Edit User Details.
The EDIT USER page open. Scroll down to find the Authentication Roles area.
This user does not have any of the roles that have the permission EmailMessageManageAllOwners assigned to it.
To tests, login as the user, by clicking the down arrow in the Action tab and selecting Login as User.
In the System Email Messages page, this user can only view, use and edit their own Private message templates.
