How to setup automated SMS followup for Quote sent
Notifications of Events can be set up to do a whole range of actions in Fortix. This article explains how to set up an event to followup if a customer received their quote in 2 days from the creation of the quote.
This might be a process for your system-administration person to be involved in, or you can contact Fortix at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Start by adding the process that will be triggered by the event. Process Builder page can be accessed through the Setup Menu. Click the gear icon and find Process Builder under AUTOMATION.

The Process Builder page opens with a list of current available PROCESSES. Click Add New to add the assign to Owner and Status value Process.
Complete the ADD NEW PROCESS form. Click the drop-down arrow on the Process Type field and select Marketing. If the Process Type is not available, click the notebook to add the correct Process Type.
More than one Step can be added to a Process. Complete the Step Details with a Unique Name per step. Click SAVE to continue.
The ADD NEW ACTION FORM opens. Click the down arrow in the Do Action field. Select "Send SMS Message".
The ADD NEW ACTION form displays more options to complete for this action. Click the down arrow and select the SMS message to send. The list displays from the SMS Templates.
The Message Text is displayed and can be adjusted at this stage. Click the Send To radio button. Click SAVE to continue.
Now add the notification to trigger the process. Notification is found in the Setup Menu. Click Notifications which is in the AUTOMATION section.

The Notifications list view opens with a list of current notifications. Click Add New to add a new notification.
Complete the ADD NEW NOTIFICATION form. Add a unique Name. Click Yes to Enable this Notification.
Click the down arrow in the Process field and select the SMS process that has been setup previously.
Click the down arrow in the Event field to select the event that will trigger this notification process. Select quote.created.x.days.in.the.past
Note the red clock icon indicates that the CRON job needs to be activated and scheduled.
Select the Recipients of this message.
Set the Days Interval and select which days of the week the messages should be send.
Other Attributes for this event can be set. Exclude Customers Tagged As, Include Customers Tagged As, Quote Statuses, Exclude Quotes Tagged As, Include Quotes Tagged As.
Click SAVE to continue.
The Notifications list view displays the newly created notification. Edit the notification to schedule the CRON job.
Click the red clock icon to schedule the CRON job.
The CRON job notification_quote_created.php is open. Click active for the Status.
Select the minutes and hours this job should be executed. Click SAVE to continue.
The CRON job can also be manually executed by clicking down arrow in the Action tab and selecting Execute.
To view SMS messages sent, navigate to the SMS Log List view. Click Display to view the message details.

The Quote can also be accessed by clicking on the Quote Number.
