Creating Activity Category for Work Request
Activity Category in Fortix systems defines the resource consumption category when updating work done in a Work Request.
This article explains how to add a new activity category for Work Request Collaboration.
Access the Picklists page, by clicking on the square menu options on the right-hand side of the page, then clicking the Picklist icon.
Scroll down to the PROJECTS section and click Activity Categories.

The list view of Activity Categories opens. To add a New Category, click the + next to Add New Category,
The ADD NEW form opens. Complete the information for the new Category. If a parent Category is selected, the category will not be displayed in the Work Request collaboration. Only the parent category is displayed. Click SAVE to commit the new category to the system.
The new category is displayed in the list view. Click the Action down arrow to Edit, Archive or Delete the Activity Category.
The new category is displayed in the Work Request Collaboration options.
