How to create Contact Type Combination Allowed
Contact type Picklists are selection lists used to populate the Contact Type data input field in Contacts with one of a number of predefined values. Picklists provided in the standard system can be altered to use customer-specific values.
Click on the Contact Types Icon in the CONTACTS Section of the Picklists page.

The Picklists - Contact Types page opens with a current list of Contact Types. To add another Contact Types, Click Add New in the header bar.
The Picklists - Contact Types page opens with the ADD NEW Contact Type form enabled. Enter the New Contact Type name and the Order in which it appears. Choose if this is a Default for each Contact that is added.
Click the down arrow in the Profile field to select the Profile this Contact Type belongs to. Only users belonging to the selected Profile will be able to see the Contact Type. To Create Profiles Refer article How to Create Profile.
Click the down arrow in the Add Tags if Type is Added field to select the Tags this Contact Type belongs to. These Tags will be assigned to the Contact with this Type assigned. To Create Tags Refer article Creating Tags in Fortix.
Click the down arrow in the Remove Tags if Type is Removed field to select the Tags that must be removed when the Type is changed. To Create Tags Refer article Creating Tags in Fortix.
Click the down arrow next to Allowed Only With Contact Type.
Type "A" is allowed only with "B" and "C":
combination A is allowed
combination A + B is allowed
combination A + C is allowed
combination A + B + C is allowed
combination A + D is not allowed
combination A + B + D is not allowed
If no combination is set for a particular type then all combinations are allowed (default behaviour).
Click SAVE to commit the New Contact Type to the system.
To Delete a Contact Type, Click Delete at the end of the row of the Contact Type that has to be deleted.
