View Email Log

The Email Log in Fortix displays all the information about the email that was sent. It represents emails that actually left the Fortix system and was not blocked. The Email Log displays the system process, Notification process and what part of the Fortix system were used to send the email.

This article explains how to view the Email log and view, resend, delete or download the email message that was sent.

Click E-mail Log in the sub Heading under COMMUNICATION. The E-mail Log page opens with a list of emails that have been generated.

The Email Log list view opens with a list of email that was sent. the list can be sorted by clicking on the column heading.

To further interrogate click the down arrow in the Action tab. To view the message that was sent, select Original Message Preview.

The preview form opens. Click the More Menu to Forward or Print the message.

The list view in Email Log page offers other options like replying directly from the Log, resending the email, Downloading the EML file or deleting the message log entry.

Multiple records can be Resend by clicking the tick boxes and clicking the More Menu option. Select Resend to resend all the selected records.

Sorting on the PROCESS column, all the processes within the Fortix system that triggered the email being sent is displayed.

Sorting on the NOTIFICATION column, all the Notification processes within the Fortix system that triggered the email being sent is displayed. Any of the underlined data can be clicked on to access the record directly.
